An intense puree of passion fruit from Ecuador is the natural ingredient that makes this uniquely smooth and velvety sorbet particularly special, in subtle contrast with the succulent flesh of Alfonso mangoes from India.

Enjoy the pleasure of ice cream with no artificial additives or colours.

Passion Fruit

More about passion fruits...
The countless varieties of passion fruit are all native to South America. Maracuja is the most widespread of these, while Granadilla and Curuba are less well known. Asian cuisine also makes use of the plant’s tender young flowers.

The fruits are highly aromatic, sweet and slightly sour. When ripe, they are wrinkly and leathery, perfect for juicing or eating fresh. The pulp has a gelatinous consistency, with a lot of seeds.

More about mangoes...
Mangoes are the most popular exotic fruit, both in southeast Asia and in the West. The fruits can weigh up to 2 kilos. Alphonso, a mango from India, is the most commonly exported variety.

Mangoes can also be prepared sweet and sour as chutney: the fruit is then served with cane sugar, vinegar, chilli, fresh ginger, spices, garlic, etc. This goes well with cheese sandwiches, stewed meat and fish.
