Carefully selected mandarins from Sicily and juicy oranges are the heart of this incredibly fresh and indulgent sorbet. The Mövenpick Maîtres Glaciers have captured the aromatic aroma of mandarins and the vivid intensity of oranges into a sweet and tangy fruit-puree to create an outstandingly creamy sorbet. To this, real orange pieces enriched with orange zests have been added giving the composition a succulent contrast of textures and flavours. A fine demonstration of the Mövenpick Maîtres Glaciers’ unique savoir-faire.

Enjoy the pleasure of a recipe with no artificial additives or colours.

Mandarin-Orange

More about Mandarin...

Mandarines (also known as Tangerines) are related varieties of oranges distinguished by loose, easily peeled skin and sweet juicy flesh. Just as oranges, they belong to the citrus family and are scientifically known as Citrus reticulata. Native to China, mandarins are nowadays widely grown in many parts of the world especially in California or Sicily.

The mandarin got its name because it was exploited by high-ranking government officials in China (Mandarins).

The juicy segments of mandarins add richness to fruit or even green salads. Their skin, grated in zest imparts, adds a delicious orange flavor to confectionary items such as biscuits, cakes, muffins, pastry cream, ice creams etc.
