In mountainous regions of Bulgaria, yoghurt made from fresh milk is part of the simple daily diet. The people here live to an unusually old age.Yoghurt drinks such as lassi, raiti ayran, etc. can be made with vegetables (cucumber) or fruit (mango) and seasoned with the appropriate herbs.
