UK Pastry Club Coupe du Monde
Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie is the World Cup of Pastry where the culinary elite of pastry chefs come together to compete against each other. We are very proud to be one of the sponsors of the UK team and are certain that their knowledge, creativity and talent will be an inspiration to all.
The British Pastry Team includes Javier Mercado, Pâtisserie Teaching Chef at Le Cordon Bleu London, Nicolas Bouhelier, Pastry Sous Chef at Le Manoir aux Quat'saisons and Nicolas Belorgey, Pâtisserie Teaching Chef at Le Cordon Bleu London.
The British team has been selected and is lead by Team President Martin Chiffers, Executive Pastry Chef at The Savoy, London.
The 'Club Coupe du Monde UK', chaired by Benoit Blin MCA, Executive Pastry Chef at Le Manoir aux Quat'saisons, has been created to support the British Team and its President. It will also help develop potential future team members, aiming for regular UK representation and we hope UK success.
The team is now in training through until January 2013 where they will compete in Lyon at the world championship.
